School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play Bronx Theatre reviews
The Girl can put on a show!!
School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play is a machine! Beauty, power, and grace. The set, the camaraderie amongst everyone on stage, the showwomanship, the acrobatics, and the genuine appreciation she dotes on her fans were unbelievable. I decided I was not going to miss out again after watching the videos of her previous tour and being envious of those who witnessed her spectacular performances. Well, School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play did not disappoint. I flew out, on a whim, and by the grace of God, caught flights to see her final East coast performance. She's self-deprecating and looked like she genuinely enjoyed being on stage, never taking herself too seriously. After watching the videos of her previous tour and being envious of those who witnessed her spectacular performances, I decided I was not going to miss out again. The woman is a machine! I've never witnessed a performer give so much love and time to share with fans--taking pics, signing autographs, receiving gifts, signing future tattoos, etc. and she did it all with a smile on her face.
